Leeds Town Hall. Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick and was opened in 1858 by Queen Victoria. It held council chambers, courthouse, prison and a concert hall with the largest organ in Europe. It is used for concerts and recitals. The school held its annual Speech Day and Prize giving there. Except for the white lions, it was jet black with over 100 years worth of accumulated soot until it was stone cleaned in the 70s. Roll mouse pointer over the image for a night view
